The yearbook club has gone the extra mile in making sure the 2018-2019 yearbook is a big success. From designing to writing to editing, the club has reviewed it to ensure WHS students will receive a high-quality product.
Last year, there were many complaints regarding spelling and grammar errors that had slipped through the editing process. “As always in any print, there are struggles with spelling and grammar mistakes,” explained yearbook advisor, Mrs. Stoehr. “This year, we have been extra careful with proofing.”
Yearbook sales are keeping pace with expectations. Stoehr remarked, “Sales are going quite well this year. We are running 90% of our goal.” Yearbooks this year are $75, which may seem a little pricey, but it is worth it to relive some great memories.
The one thing that can make or break a yearbook’s journey to success is its theme. The yearbook club has a special treat in store this year, as the theme is “Classic Newspaper.” They also chose the signature WHS Bell Tower as their cover. In Stoehr’s words, “The cover is one of our best yet!”
Whether it’s big sports-wins, stellar band performances, grand musicals and plays, or anything in between, the WHS yearbook will cover all aspects of our school year.
